LOA SUCCESS: Why do you want what you want?

Why do you want what you want?  This is a really powerful question.  People will say that they want to have a certain amount of money and they can focus on this, but it’s more effective to focus on why you want it.  How would your life be different if you have what you want?

In my last post, I shared a fantastic LOA CLARITY exercise.

If you didn’t see this post, I encourage you to go and try the exercise first and then come back to this post.

In the exercise, you started by focusing on what you don’t want/like in a particular area of your life/business.  Then you asked “If I don’t want this, what do I want?” this gave you your DO WANT list.

Today I want you to get clear about WHY you want what you want?

LOA Success exercise: Whay do you want what you want? This is a fantastic law of attraction exercise to help you get real clarity. Clarity is the first step in the law of attraction process.

So now what I want you to do is use your DO WANT LIST and for each statement, is add SO THAT…

Here’s an example of someone who wants to attract their ideal client.

Don’t want – I don’t want clients who say they want change but do now want to commit to doing exercises I give them.

I want to attract clients who are committed to making positive changes in their life and are willing to do the exercises I give to them.

Now I’ll add SO THAT…

I want to attract clients who are committed to making positive changes in their life and are willing to do the exercises I give to them so that I can effectively help them using my skills in the quickest and easiest way.

Here’s another example of someone who wants to attract $5,000 a month. 

I do want to have money left over at the end of each month to put into my savings account so that I have money set aside for emergencies and so that I can afford to take my family on holiday and so that I can feel safe and secure.

You may find you want to add more to your do want list today, if so just go ahead and add whatever comes to mind.   Just remember to keep the DO WANT statements positive.

I sometimes find two statements actually fit together at this stage.  Just do whatever feels right for you.  It’s your list of the things you want.  It has to feel great for you.

You may even want to do the clarity exercise again which is absolutely fine.  I do these exercises for all kinds of things regularly.

This exercise will help you to fix your intentions firmly into your conscious and sub-conscious mind.  It also makes it an even clearer message for the universe.
