Everybody wants to end up in career with promise. You want to be able to progress and climb the ladder. Who wants to stay in the same position, or even the same department forever? When you know your career is promising, you can actually picture yourself there for an extended amount of time.
Here are the signs to look out for that should give you a good idea of whether your career is promising or not:
Your Skills And Interests Line Up
There’s so much more to a promising career than how much you earn. Your skills and interests should line up with your career too. When this happens, it’s almost like you can feel magic happening. You know you’re going to do well and go places!
The Boss Likes You
Maybe like isn’t the right word to use. If they include you in conversations, ask your thoughts, give you feedback, and challenge you, you can bet that they see you as a great employee for the company. If your boss gives you responsibility, seems to come to you when something needs to be done, checks in with you, and gives you important tasks, these are all great signs that you have a promising career ahead.
The Industry Is Booming
Whatever industry you’re in, you should keep up to date with the goings on. You should have a good idea of whether the industry is booming or not, and any potential for future growth. Accountancy is one industry that’s truly booming right now. Take a look at the infographic below for some more information!
